This one is a hotfix rather than a content drop, but an important one. Some of you reported saves not keeping your progress, and chasing that down turned up a bigger problem underneath it. The Android build got a fix it badly needed too.

Fixed in v0.89.05

  • Saves no longer lose your progress — money won in the casino, earned in the mining app or spent at the shops could roll back to what you had when you walked into a location. It holds now
  • Your chosen name, and the names and titles you set for you and Kate, no longer reset after loading a save
  • Those settings now only show up in Settings during a game, since edits from the main menu were thrown away when a new playthrough started
  • Fixed menus, dialogue choices and the dialogue box being almost unreadable on phones — the mobile build now uses the same interface as PC
  • Fixed a line in Robin's storm scene that still used the default name instead of yours
  • Map locations now show their name when you hover or tap them

On a save made before this update, anything already lost stays lost, but from here on it holds. If your name or your titles with Kate got reset, set them once more in Settings under Relationship and they'll stay put.
