Some of you told me, pretty honestly, that the game had problems: a teacher praising an essay you never wrote, tasks you couldn't actually do, scenes that were over in three clicks — and scenes that just stopped, with no real climax. You were right about all of it. So I went back and rewrote every route in the game, all twelve of them, and gave the scenes the ending they were missing.
The climaxes
- 26 new climax animations, for 11 of the girls — most of them get more than one
- Each position gets its own finish instead of one shared ending
- Scenes build up properly now and end on the climax, instead of just stopping
The story
- Every route rewritten from scratch, with the same girls and the same places
- Your character finally has a real voice and a reason to be in every story
- No more contradictions — what happened earlier is what the game remembers
- Every route has a real ending that pays off what it set up
- A mystery about your father runs under all of it, one clue in each route
- The girls know each other now, and some of their stories cross
- A summer storm and a summer fair that the whole town shares
- Callie's route got the biggest rework, including a new night at the cove
New art
- 55 new CGs and about 40 new backgrounds, including storm and night versions
- 55 new sprites and expressions
- 51 new clickable spots in rooms, with the girls in different outfits by time of day
- New phone wallpapers and item icons
Fixes & quality of life
- To-Do hints follow the route you're actually on
- Text messages don't pop up in the middle of a scene anymore
- Rooms only open when something is actually happening there
- Better recovery when loading an older save
Before I called it done, I had every route scored, old version against new, on the same checklist — every single one went up a lot. A lot of this comes straight from your feedback, the harsh comments included. Those helped the most.
